Rheumatoid Arthritis

From a Doctor’s Office in the Missoula, Montana area.

Dear (Name Removed):

Your rheumatoid factor remains negative. Your index of inflammation is normal as well. Reviewing your x-ray there are no destructive changes of rheumatoid arthritis. You do have some mild cystic changes, which certainly can be rheumatoid arthritis. Your joint spaces look quite good.

I do hope you continue to do well. As you are aware, I do not agree with the decision you have made with regard to discontinuing all your therapy. However, I will be more than happy to see you back if things deteriorate in the interim.

Otherwise, I hope to see you in follow-up in about three months. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

(Doctor’s Name Removed)
