Rodent Bite

My grandson was bitten by a neighborhood  domesticated-rat. His mother cleaned it well and put a charcoal pack on it that evening, She did everything she knew to do to draw out poison if there was any.

When he awoke the next morning his hand was swollen twice the normal size it was hurting very badly and there were red streaks running up his arm. She knew this was not good at all. She called me, on my cell phone, and I told her to call Ellen right away. Ellen had her begin giving him remedies as they were on their way to her office This is something that is very serious and not to be taken lightly.

I don’t know all the remedies he was given (homeopathic tetanus was one) but as they were being administered his Dad said he could actually see the red streaks moving before his very eyes. Ellen told them the poison was heading to the glands and then it would move to the heart.

This is only one of many times we have been so grateful Ellen was close and we were fortunate enough to know her. Besides being an excellent Homeopath, she’s a good friend.

While this experiment is well under-way I can only report on my observations so far. I am too old, too conservative, too weathered by ranch life to hurry my conclusions. In this early stage… I am encouraged to continue the experiment by the results I am seeing.

It was a wet and muddy spring. Typical conditions for scours. I used the scour remedy and the calves cleaned right up in two days.

We had a dry cow we were finishing on grass for slaughter in June when she came down with foot-rot. I did not want to load her up with antibiotics so I tried the foot rot remedy with good results. She was completely recovered in five days with no further lameness.

When we got into fly season, I ordered the [Diminish Bugs & Flies] Treatment. When it was available, the cows and calves had very few face flies and horn flies. When they ran out, the flies returned. When I retreated the flies diminished.
